• Submission of document as per checklist

• Coordinate with lab for a testing
• Submission of document if required by lab
• Verification of report for Models, Series, Brand Name and a Manufacturing Company
• Coordinate with lab to submit the report to BIS
• Coordinate to BIS for License Grant
• Reply to query if any raised
• Coordinate with BIS for Grand of License
• BIS Certificate issued for 2 years
• Modification & Updation of Model & Series when required
• Renewal Support when due.

ISI is meant for a quality standard set by the Indian government. However the term “gISI mark” continues to be used for the quality standards. BIS is authorized to use the ISI mark and offers the product certification, which is basically voluntary.
